Ingredients

  • 6 ounces fresh raspberries Around 1 cup, with extra for topping.
  • 16 ounces fresh strawberries 2 cups, hulled and sliced, with extra for topping.
  • 2 ripe peaches, nectarines, or oranges Sliced for added flavor.
  • 750 ml bottle of moscato Either white or pink works perfectly.
  • 1/2 cup triple sec An orange-flavored liqueur or chambord for raspberry notes.
  • 1/2 cup peach or pineapple juice To enhance the fruity essence.
  • ginger ale, soda water, or ginger beer To top off your sangria and add fizz.

Method

  1. Start by washing all your fruits thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides. Hull and slice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces while also slicing the peaches into thin wedges. Lastly, rinse the raspberries gently and set aside some for garnishing later.
  2. In a large pitcher, add the sliced strawberries, peaches, and raspberries. Pour in the peach or pineapple juice along with the triple sec (or chambord) to infuse those delightful flavors into your fruit mixture.
  3. Carefully pour in the chilled bottle of moscato over the fruit mixture in your pitcher. Stir gently to combine all ingredients without bruising the fruit too much; you want them to remain visually appealing.
  4. Cover your pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours. This chilling time allows all those wonderful flavors to meld together beautifully, creating a refreshing beverage.
  5. When ready to serve, pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice if desired. Top each glass off with ginger ale, soda water, or ginger beer to add a fizzy touch that enhances the overall experience.
