Ingredients

  • 3 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1 ½ pounds, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt enhances the overall flavor
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper adds a subtle kick
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder brings depth and aroma
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder complements the garlic flavor
  • ½ teaspoon paprika lends mild smokiness and vibrant color
  • ½ cup dill pickle ranch dressing provides a tangy base for coating the chicken
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese divided for mixing and topping
  • 3 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs contributes crunch and texture
  • to taste fresh dill chopped, for garnishing

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Evenly coat all sides of the sliced chicken breasts with the prepared spice mixture.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the dill pickle ranch dressing with ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of each seasoned chicken breast.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the remaining grated Parmesan cheese with plain breadcrumbs until evenly distributed. Sprinkle this mixture generously over each piece of coated chicken.
  5. Place the prepared chicken breasts into your air fryer basket and air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, checking at 8 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped dill and drizzle additional dill pickle ranch dressing on top.
